From the Longbox – Cybernary 2.0 #6
September 28th, 2009
Meet Yumiko Gamorra. Otherwise known as Cybernary 2.0. Yumi here is the daughter Kaizen Gamorra and heir to the island nation of Gamorra. She is actually a cross species of cyborg and mecha-jin. The latter being a group of robot ninja that shred enemies just as quickly as they sound like they do. Here she is finally coming into her own as the rightful heir and is not happy with what has been going down in her absence. “Has no wrath” indeed.
The book is called Cybernary 2.0 because Yumiko is indeed the second person to take the name of Cybernary. The character has a muddled past especially since its creator, Nick Manabat, died shortly after breathing life into the cyborg hottie. However, taking up the reins is artist Eric Canete, whom has a distinctive knack for drawing technology in general and robot warriors specifically. Which is probably why he was tapped to do the recent Iron Man: Enter the Mandarin.
